Kids need to move around and try out different seating options to find what works best for them!!! My project will allow movement within my classroom and choice for students. I want to teach them to make good choices by including our school rules of being safe, respectful and responsible with where they choose to work and what tool they are using. By giving my students choice on where they work it will empower them and help with their success to focus and learn throughout the year. The various pieces of flexible seating 'furniture' I've selected will help my students by giving them more seating choices. The round cushions and "wiggle seats" I've selected will give the students more comfortable options while learning on the floor. The lap tables will also be helpful when choosing to work somewhere on the floor. Everything I've chosen can easily be moved around the classroom and will help to meet all different learners needs.
