Wobble chairs, wobble cushions, and rolling stools are a needed resource for the students in my class who need to move throughout our whole and small group lessons in order to focus. My students love to move their little bodies, their chairs, and to swing their legs which can be dangerous and distracting. Wobble chairs are a great alternative because they are designed to move, but won't tip over like a normal chair. Wobble cushions provide just enough movement to a student while sitting on our carpet without distracting their peers. These items will encourage and promote active learning while keeping everyone focused and engaged. By providing them with a safe way to move it will allow them to stay focused and engaged in the least restrictive environment.
