This year they will have the challenge of trying to answer the following questions; What is Virtue?, What is Courage?, What is Good?, What is Justice? Students will be contemplating and analyzing weather leaders had these qualities through Socratic Seminars, essays, and readings. I am a firm believer that students need less screen time and more time within books. By putting books in students hands there is less chance of distraction and more time spent with an actual text in their hands. This coming school year 2019-2020 students will also hopefully engage in the following projects; constructing miniature Trireme ship building, African Mask making, developing miniature long bows and crossbows to test accuracy and theories of Agincourt battle, and making a Genghis Khan board game.
