The books will aid with comprehension and fluency for my students who are slower readers. They will also help with learning history and imagery. I also teach writing therefore, the students will also get to write about their thoughts on what they have read. Reading brings the imagination to life. I believe students need the ability to write about what they feel about what they have read and what they have experienced about a character they have been able to connect with. As Dr. Seuss said, "Oh the places you'll go."
