My students are a from diverse backgrounds and languages. I have about half of my students that speak a first language other than English. For many, this is their first experience in a school setting and with learning letters, sounds and words. Because of this, they are very excited to learn and to use materials that let them work with peers and provided a hands-on learning experience. I love to provide them with a wide range of learning choices and experiences throughout the day. I find that by teaching them how to think and problem solve, they will become 21 century learners ready for life. I believe in the motto strong bodies, strong minds and caring hearts and I try to instill that in my students everyday. Thank you for all that have already helped students and to all those that will be helping my young learning in the future.
