There are 507 k-6th grade students at my school. Sixty of those students are my 6th grade science students. The majority of my students are African American students who receive free lunch and have a low socio-economic status. Although my students have low socio-economic statuses, they come to class excited and ready to learn each day. They love to conduct scientific investigations and use technology.
