My 5th Graders are currently composing a Time Travel musical - complete with dinosaurs, aliens, and bullies that accidentally stuff them into a time travel toilet! Last year was our first annual 5th Grade written musical, "Aloha, Hawaii!" and it was a huge success. However, they did not have the chance to make their own backgrounds, props, costumes etc. This year, we are making the project even bigger and hoping to incorporate those aspects with our DonorsChoose supplies. I am requesting supplies so that each 5th Grader can make part of their costume during 5th Grade art time. I am also requesting canvases and paint for backgrounds as well as supports for them to be shown on stage. These supports will be re-used for upcoming 5th Grade classes as well. The students are so excited about this project. Being able to make the visual aspects of their musical will help them take even more ownership over it. Thanks for your support!
