My first grade students have a love for learning! They are curious little learners that love their school! They love to explore, do science, read, write, and share their learning! As a charter school, we have a different approach to learning, based on research that shows children learn best through exploration and personal experience. Our school partners with museums and other institutions, and gives its students real-life experience through differentiated classroom lessons and allows them to make discoveries driven by their curiosity. Our school turns into a museum 4 times a year, showcasing every students' work and allowing students to become docents and share their learning. Our education model instills confidence and promotes a love of learning! We are a community school, built by a grass-roots effort that enjoys the overwhelming support of residents and organizations.
