My students are awesome. They are fourth graders, so they are far from perfect, but we practice what makes a good classmate on a regular basis. We strive to be friends and not just classmates. We are very diverse. Our district has many low income families, we don't let this be an excuse for anything. We are equals in our classroom. We make the best of what we have and make it work. It encourages our creativity and keeps our imaginations growing!
