My classroom is made up of 12 unique 1st through 4th graders, all with disabilities including Down Syndrome, Autism, and others. Each student learns in his or her own way, including many hands-on and visual activities, and a favorite of most technology. Every day is an adventure with new academic and life skill learning opportunities. Because of the range of abilities, we do our learning in small groups and use manipulatives and the limited technology in our room. Our curiosity is boundless, and so is our potential in spite of the disabilities we have to learn to work with. Thank you for supporting us in this quest to learn and grow.
