I am one of five self-contained special education teachers at a public high school. Our students vary from moderate to severe Intellectual Disabilities as well as Autism. We each have our own classrooms and also share a functional living lab where students learn basic household chores. We have many students who are non-verbal and only demonstrated they are capable of "parallel play". My students have a such a strong desire to learn and overcome the obstacles they face. I want to provide them with the tools they need to do so!

About my class
