My students love to explore the world around them through the use of Chromebooks. They enjoy being able to select an online book on a Chromebook and sit back and listen as the story unfolds. This is so beneficial when helping them to understand print and gain knowledge. This also enables them to make the connection that letters make words and words make stories. They get so excited when they are able to read along with the computer and then pick up a book later and read it independently. With technology, like the 2 Chromebooks I would like to have in my classroom, my Special needs students would get to have experiences that would otherwise be inaccessible to them. They are a wonderful group of children who deserve an equal opportunity to gain information about the world around them. My students are hard working children who will grow up to be contributing of society. Help me to give them the tools to become productive members as well.
