The students I serve are mostly Kindergarten and 1st Grade students whom are just entering the academic environment and learning fundamental skills to help them become successful in their academic endeavors. My students have unique needs where they demonstrate difficulty responding to information coming from their bodies and environment. My students require appropriate means and tools to help them regulate their bodies in order to develop an adaptive response so they can participate and thrive at school.
