Hello! I am a special education teacher. I work primarily with students in kindergarten through fifth grade. In addition to working with students with disabilities, I help organize RTI groups. I enjoy working hand in hand with parents and general education teachers but my number one priority is being an advocate for students who don't necessarily have a voice. This year, I am co-directing the school's play. We are actively seeking ways to raise the money we need to fund this project as we work in a high poverty district. It is such a joy to see kids get into a character and embrace their personality. They are truly happy when they come to Drama Club. I have a young family with two daughters and one son. I am married to a wonderful man whom I love a great deal. I am serious when I say, how much I love my family and my job. It's not always easy, but the joy I get from seeing students succeed is enormous.
