When I started teaching at the school, the library had fallen into disuse and disrepair. I have done a lot of work for the past three years to bring it up to snuff so that our students have access to quality reading and research materials. Our students deserve a library that meets all of their educational needs. Unfortunately, our shelving is not meeting these needs. Many of our bookcases have water and mold damage. Most of the shelves have bowed under the weight of the books. The wood is scuffed and worn and dirty. Please help our students by funding the replacement of the first 5 bookshelves. Ultimately, our school will need a total of 50 new shelves to meet the needs of our student body, but each increment of five will help immensely.
