We have about 275 students at our school. We have a ethnically diverse population that includes African American, Asian, Hispanic, and Caucasian students. Our school is 77% low income. Our particular classroom consists of 15 second graders who come from very diverse backgrounds. They are energetic children who love learning. Since we are designated the ESL classroom, we are lucky to have 7 students who are learning English as their second language.
