It's an amazing time to be a kid, as this world is becoming more tolerant each day. As a teacher, I want my students to always be confident in who they are. In a recent staff meeting, the website WelcomingSchools.org was shared with us. The site contains lesson plans for elementary age students that teach inclusion, compassion, and tolerance. Many of the lessons have books that are recommended to go with them. Your donation will go to help purchase 30 books that share stories of people who make this country amazing. Books like, 'The Great Big Book of Families', 'Let the Children March', and 'A Tale of Two Princes.'
