As a Title 1 teacher, intervention and differentiation is critical. Our classroom has 1 teacher, 2 paraprofessionals, and 5-16 students at any given time. The limited desktops available to use, were purchased with a 2005 technology fee. Having multiple Chromebooks will allow increased access to online tools and materials, improved flexible seating opportunities and a greater possibility for differentiation. Chromebooks will allow intervention and remediation, pre-teaching and reteaching opportunities in both ELA and Math, through curricula such as Zearn, Kahn Academy, Moby Max and Lalilo. Additional practice with technology will also improve test taking skill, comfort, and confidence, which is critical for students to demonstrate their true abilities and strengths.
