The items I am asking for are extremely important for my work as a school psychologist. I work with kids with disabilities ranging from Autism, to Anxiety Disorders, to Developmental Delays, and most often ADHD-behaviors. These sensory items are powerful tools in unlocking my students' potential. Giving children tools that help them concentrate while being asked to sit still for the most-part of a 7 hour school-day can be torture for most kids (especially K-2 age). Students will use these sensory tools as aides and strategies to be used daily in their early childhood education. These items are also useful when teaching calm-down strategies due to emotion dysregulation, as well as anxiety.
