Creating a loving and safe environment is an important step to encourage learning in the classroom. Kindergarten is an important year for teaching a child to love school. I would like to create a cozy reading corner that will double as a calming corner where students can go if they are feeling stressed, anxious, or nervous. Additionally, the storage shelves behind the bookshelf will help create more storage space in a very small classroom. Kindergarten is the foundation for all learning which is why fostering a love for reading is so important. Help my students become more motivated to read with a comfier seating choice and a more visually pleasing book display.
