My students like to be given the opportunity to make decisions for themselves. With flexible seating, they will be given the freedom to read and do their work in an area that works best for them. Currently, my students only have their desks. As an adult, I do not like have to sit in one spot for hours at a time, so I know students are unable to work effectively at their desks all day. Every child has a different preference of how they like to learn, and this will help address those needs. I want my kids to look forward to coming to school each day and I believe flexible seating will help make that happen.
