Receiving an iPad would allow my students to explore the world around them. Students would have the ability to research different learning options which would be more suitable for their individual needs. By individualizing their education it will allow them to progress in a way they can master their own goals from their Individualized Education Program. Having this easy access would allow for the students to use the Ipad from anywhere within the classroom which would also help with any stimulation issues that could occur to where they can be comfortable regardless. Wherever we look or go, whatever we do, technology is part of our daily lives. This concept is no different within the world of individuals with disabilities. These students are wanting a way to reach and explore new concepts and the world of technology has so much to offer. By allowing them anything from apps that help with educational needs, to apps which actually speak for those students who are non verbal it truly would be life changing within the classroom.
