My students really struggle with reading and that is why my goal is to make it fun for them by doing this. I want to provide books they can read about stuff they find interesting and by people that look like them. Of course I follow a lesson plan and teach them our subject of the day for example one day it'll be verbs and the next adjectives. We make fun games and keep a scoreboard to motivate them to participate. It has been very effective for them because they get excited to know they are understanding the assignment. A lot of my students do not have internet at home so they need to have physical books. They are always stressed about having to help at home so I want to make sure they get as much time to learn and have fun while doing it. I want to make sure they enjoy it and also improve while doing so. They tend to not believe in themselves when they should they are so hardworking.
