Hi, I'm proud to be English Dept. Head at Riverview High. It is an alternative school with a small crew (downsizing) that is dedicated to serving the unique student base that enrolls in a small classroom setting. Because of the nature of my school, we can have a new student start any day of the week at any point in the school year. For myself, it means that I am prepared to teach all grade levels and semesters of any high school English course at once during a single class period. And then add that I also have special ed and English language learners too. That sounds crazy, I know! To say that it has been one of the most fun and rewarding teaching jobs that I have ever had is an understatement.
