We do a lot of collaborative learning in which students are constantly moving and communicating. However, at times students are required to do testing in which they are made to stay still. By having the choice of flexible seating, students will be able to move independently while testing and not disrupt others. Students with attention problems and behavior issues will have other outlets with balance balls and stools, which will improve their learning environment as well as their peers. This will increase their understanding of the curriculum as well as provide self-motivation. Students can then enjoy coming school and wanting to learn. They now have an outlet for the unrest these students feel.
