With an emphasis to teach and reach ALL students, this donation will give my 330+ students the opportunity to develop not only their vocabulary skills but also expand the development of their SEL literacy as well as accomplishing my school guidance counseling programs' mission. The use of culturally responsive text outlines the very essence of my guidance program by making learning fun and tangible with first hand experiences that enhance empathy and understanding for both my ESL and Bilingual Students. Your generous donation will help plan highly effective lessons that will allow the further teaching of social skills guided by the American School Counseling Association's Mindsets and Behaviors in grades PK-5 as I help prepare all students for their bright future. Equitably designed lessons has always been the focus of my comprehensive guidance program. Lending students the above resources to take home, share, and read with family members will not only increase reading fluency but also increase emotional literacy with family members as well. As we strive to teach social skills with an emphasis on building students' social emotional awareness, reading fluency and vocabulary development are the vital components of my guidance counseling program as students' passion for literacy continuous developing. With your heartwarming contribution, not only will you inspire new learning but also help build a solid learning community of teachers, parents, students and staff.
