I teach at a very unique and amazing school. We are a community school that has PreK through 8th grade. I am the only 7th and 8th English Language Arts teacher at the school, so it is my sole responsibility to prepare our middle schoolers for high school. Many do not have the ability to buy their own independent reading books, so they rely heavily on the classroom library that I have developed specifically for them. With this donation, my students will have a larger selection of nonfiction books to read. I hope these STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) books will engage and encourage our future scientists, engineers, doctors, lawyers, and teachers.
