Although most students face struggles outside of school, the classroom is a safe haven for my students. It is important that each students learning need is recognized and met in the classroom. This happens through differentiated learning in the classroom. The students I service although they may have difficulties learning, continue to push themselves in times of adversity and struggle. Each student of mine has unique strengths and skills that they bring the the class. Our classroom is a individualized learning center where each student gets to show of their learning and understanding. My students bring a smile to my face everyday. They come to class looking forward to a hands on learning experience, where they can fully apply themselves.
