As a Reading Specialist, I work with small groups of students in Grades K-4 who struggle to read words and comprehend text. I use carefully selected programs to teach students strategies that enable them to read with understanding. iPads in the classroom can provide opportunities for students to work and excel at their own level and pace. The use of iPads will enhance curricular goals and support my struggling readers in new and transformative ways. Students will gain exposure and practice in the use of digital technology in a hands-on, real-world application that will also support and boost their literacy skills (reading and writing).

About my class
