These books and Scholastic News will increase my students' love for learning, and take them to places outside of our classroom walls. These books and magazines will be read by fifth graders year after year, and will be treasured throughout their time in my classroom. Each book is treated with love and respect, and are appropriate for the different levels in my classroom. The books listed above allow for variety and student choice, as all genres are included. Students will be given the choice to choose a book they want to read about, and can enjoy these books in our own classroom library. The books will not be taken out of the classroom, and will be handled carefully.
