We use the "I do, we do, you do" lesson structure in my class, so there is a good amount of modeling my students need to pay attention to. Having the right learning environment is essential for my demographic of struggling learning. They reach have their own way of learning and understanding. Having a choice in seating gives them the opportunity to sit themselves in the best position for their learning needs. A high seat gives them the chance to stand if they choose. The bouncy chair pads allows a fidgety student to move with minimal distraction to others. The low seating puts an easily distracted student to be front and center, yet still out of the line of sight of others.
