If you were to walk into my classroom, you would see my students all over my room. You'd see my students under tables, laying on the floor, or even standing with a clipboard. My students are trying to make do with a traditional classroom. Students who have choices in how they can do their work are more engaged. My students are working on developing their independence and collaboration skills, and I can only imagine how freeing up space with replacing traditional desks and chairs with WOBBLE chairs, Balance Ball chairs, and a high table would impact their progress. Students would have the opportunity to make choices that best fit their own learning. Many students have expressed that flexible seating will allow them to become more responsible and independent.
