With a classroom full of different shapes and sizes, it is important that everyone feels comfortable. We start class at 7:50! With these options of seating throughout the day, students can come in knowing they have a safe spot to listen and learn. The stools can offer a student better posture, while developing their preteen core muscles. Similar to an office chair that swivels and leans, students will instinctively use these chairs to get their wiggles out in a quiet and composed manner. The inflatable seat will do much of the same, but with a more stimulating experience to help those who feel sleepy. This is also an easy sharing device for students who maybe feel like switching back to a regular chair. "Offer it to a neighbor, and keep working." These seating materials will be options for students, not assigned. So, a student who needs it one day, may need a basic chair the next. It's a plan that is flexible, reliable, and suitable for all of my growing students.
