My students are juniors and seniors at a public charter high school in southern California. The majority of our students will be the first in their families to graduate high school and go on to college. Our students' families work hard with limited funds to support their children's living and learning needs, and often help by donating small supplies to our school. Our students work hard and devote lots of time to better themselves academically and socially, participating in a diverse set of after school activities that range from environmental studies, sports, recreation, community service and academic tutoring.
