The materials listed here allow for students to look beyond their books. Low-level students often struggle with finding the correct words but can draw or make a graphic to explain themselves. English Language Learners do not always have access to the vocabulary they need. All of these materials also allow the students who cannot afford to buy their own supplies a chance to have some readily available for them. By donating you are giving the English Language Learners and the Special Education students a chance to visually express what they see when words don't seem to work. My students want to learn, and each of these supplies helps to make learning fun and creative. They will be able to analyze, explore, and delve into new depths beyond what is simply on the page. These students deserve a win, and you can help give it to them. Thank you so much for even considering our new outlook for literature!
