Our classroom is a clean, kind, sometimes chaotic, fun learning environment. It's not always quiet. We aren't always loud. One thing is for sure, we are always working together as a team, getting the best out of each other. Our classroom is in a Title One school in West Virginia. Our students come from very different homes and lifestyles. One of the many goals I hold for myself is that I create a place for students to feel safe. To feel like they own the space themselves. One that makes the kiddos feel loved and important. Because in my eyes, the kiddos deserve all of these things. Being able to provide all of these things to my students comes at a cost. I feel blessed to be able to use such a great organization like Donors Choose to show my kiddos that there are others there that believe in us. The life lessons that they are learning through these experiences is one that they will remember forever.
