Having flexible seating in my classroom will allow me to provide the best learning environment possible to my students. Giving my students the choice of seating will promote self-awareness and responsibility for their learning and actions. By giving my students the added responsibility of being aware of their actions during flexible seating time, it will allow my students to gain skills that are applicable outside of the classroom. The change of seating will also allow my students to take control of how they want to learn by first choosing an appropriate seat for themselves. Learning math can be tough, but having a comfy seat could make it easier!
