This project will be put to use right away, and will enable my first graders to find their center right away. These items will allow me to organize materials that allow for student choice and differentiated learning. Every classroom must meet various students needs, in order for this to happen organization is key. Whether it is for reading centers while the teacher is doing guided reading, or during guided math. Students become independent when they are able to find things easily around the room. Like the IRIS containers for monthly math centers. The plastic folders will ensure durability for their writing and homework folders. The sheet protectors will serve for calendars for communication with parents.

About my class
