Learning chess will help my students in many different ways. They will develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. They will also develop concentration, mathematical skills and preserve mental cognition. Chess will also teach my students to strategize and to work towards goals. They will learn that they can also set goals in life and that those goals can be achieved if they are willing to work for them. With these chess sets, my students will have an opportunity to see their efforts rewarded within our school. They will learn the importance of planning, and apply those new learned skills in their personal lives.

About my class
