The materials and supplies I am requesting for my students have been carefully selected for multiple uses during reading instruction. The new blue-tooth speaker will be used in conjunction with the classroom iPhone. Students will be able to record their reading of passages/book/reports etc. and play back to hear their fluency. The headphones will be used with the classroom computers so that students may work independently on the school reading program. The reading kits and rest of the materials will be used during small group reading instruction. The students will be having lessons touching on comprehension, vocabulary, main idea, point of view, inference, etc. with these books as well as work on their reading fluency and automaticity.
