Access to technology in a math classroom is becoming a key tool in giving students the equity they deserve to be successful in a subject that is mistakenly considered as something that not all students have the ability to master. The widely scattered skill levels of my students are the biggest roadblock that I face in planning effective lessons that are also fun for students. District curriculum has the material available to my students, but the technology gives a new outlook on how to interact with math. Self paced resources like Khan-Academy and programs like GeoGebra and Desmos are only a fraction of the tools that will be integrated into my classroom on a daily basis.
