I have 100 lovely pre-teenagers in 7th grade. Some may say that I am crazy, but I wouldn't trade these kids for the world. They are why I teach. Our school is a title 1 school in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona. Approximately 80% of the enrollment qualifies for the free or reduced lunch program. Our community has been hit pretty hard by the economic issues of our state. Due to this, many of our students were not able to receive adequate school supplies that would last the year.

About my class
