My students come to our Equine Program with diverse backgrounds and all levels of experience with horses. I have students who ride competitively and those who experience a horse for the very first time in this class. Some of my students aspire to be veterinarians, farriers, trainers, and other roles in the Equine Industry. Others are part of Equine because they want to experience what it's like to work with animals. A few students already have experience with horses and want to continue to grow in their horsemanship. I've enjoyed watching students, who struggle with learning, grow exponentially in the program. Their ability to apply all they learn in the classroom in real life at the barn, encourages study and learning. The more they are at the barn, the more they hunger to learn the science side of Equine. Additionally, serving the horses and working as small groups has developed their leadership!

About my class
