These flexible seating options (bean bag chairs, saucer chairs and stools) will give my students the ability to be cozy AND creative as they read, write, collaborate and invent as a classroom community. I've learned that the top 10 benefits of a flexible-seating classroom are choice, physical health, comfort, community, collaboration, commitment to learning, communication, sensory-input and fun! My students are going to be so excited, and so are their parents, when we invite them in for family engagement activities. I am so thrilled to see the results of the new seating options in action and then share the results with all of you. This will positively impact my students and I for the rest of our lives.
