My students are fantastic second graders who are learning to put their lives back together in our city. It is important that they have all the fun they can while at school, without us forgetting the purpose of school. Students love when they get to be at the Smart Board and these interactive lessons allow them to have all the fun they want, while still learning! The school that this project will help is a title one school, which means we are a high poverty school. These kids are also facing the loss caused by a devastating tornado in May. The students are hardworking and love hands on tools, which brings greater success in the classroom.
