With drones, students transform into problem-solvers and tinkerers that are continually looking at their results, celebrating successes by announcing positive gains and wrestling with failures to improve future designs, code, and flights. In assembling this drone, students take on the role of engineers who first use the modular parts to build a drone, a hovercraft, or a boat. There are several options for do-it-yourself configurations enabling students to be inventors and makers as well.
