Moving from Kindergarten to Third Grade is a big jump in more ways than one. One jump comes from the level of the mentor texts that students learn from. Engaging readers is key to quality literacy instruction. These books will aid in the education of my third-grade students on the topic of character traits, main idea, summarizing, and more. We will have one mentor text for the week where students will listen and dive deep everything the stories can give us. Including key vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension skills. I sincerely thank you for any contribution you make to the expansion of my classroom library!
