My name is Mrs. Dunlop! I am in my 9th year of teaching! I am a Pre-K teacher for students with significant developmental disabilities at Pharr Elementary School. Everyday I work with my students on improving their communication skills, cognitive skills, fine/gross motor skills, and adaptive skills. It has been a life long goal of mine to work with students with special needs and that dream came true in 2012 when I started teaching and now each day I work with students, ages 3-5, who inspire me everyday. Being a preschool teacher of students with significant developmental delays I know that I am the bridge to later in life for these students. Early intervention is important for children with disabilities and it is my duty to make sure that I do everything in my power to set the bar high for these students. Donor's Choose has been a life saver to me and my classroom! Thank you for all your support!
