My students live in a transient community with all of its challenges. Yet, they get up every morning with the hope that they will become someone in life and that there will be someone there to guide them. They may not be able to count on much. However, they do count on the consistency of their school, their classroom, their teacher, to provide them with the educational challenges they must acquire to be that person they dream of. My students attend one of the new schools recently built. It took one hundred years to bring a new school into their community . They are proud and disappointed that it took the government that many years to provide their neighborhood with the type of technology and facility that so many other communities have had for decades.
