Students of the school's Wilderness Club are extremely enthusiastic and determined. They live in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the entire state of New Jersey. Despite this, they look for inspiration each and every day while at school. They crave new experiences that are not readily available to them and have proven willing to work hard to prepare for these experiences. The students remain undeterred by the fact that they have to fundraise with the club to support the cost of their food and contribute to the cost of the school bus. Many fundraise while also balancing the responsibility of working to contribute to their family's income and taking care of younger siblings.

About my class
